RANDOM NOTES DEPARTMENT:

TOPIC ONE - ENCORE EPISODES AND WHERE TO FIND THEM  (OR NOT)

As you know, your favorite Uncle likes to cut corners and save a minute (or seven) wherever he can.

Effective today: VHUS CLASSIC ENCORE episodes will no longer be posted on our MIXCLOUD and SPREAKER pages.    (From now on, it's new episodes only on these 2 sites.)

VHUS CLASSIC ENCORES will still be available for download and steaming via POD-O-MATIC,  TUNE-IN,  PLAYER.FM,  STITCHER,  GOOGLE PLAY and most other PC & mobile platforms.

TOPIC TWO - ARTWORK AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF TWO-DIGIT NUMBERS

I've received a couple of notes from listeners who don't care much for our "spectrum" style episode artwork - apparently the individual volume images look SO similar, it's just too hard to tell them apart on tiny portable device screens.

That's cool.  I understand completely.   Granted, each episode has a big fat volume number in the lower right hand corner... but if you can't read or count so well, I can see where that might be a problem.

But seriously folks, we've been considering a return to our "classic LP" style artwork for future episodes - after all, it is our trademark (or more correctly, someone else's trademark) - so this issue may resolve itself in a few weeks.   And you won't have to learn any more numbers.   Unless you want to.

Volume 55 premieres Thursday, July 7th!

Have a safe and reasonably sane Fourth!
