R.I.P. Another kid-tested, Uncle-approved buffet bites the dust.

Please forgive me if I'm not too chatty this week.   Uncle is in mourning, and it's going to take a while to recover from this heart-wrenching loss.

After 2 decades of building onto my waistline cheese-molecule-by-cheese-molecule - MUCHO MEXICO - Joplin/Webb City's greatest Tex-Mex buffet is closing their doors.    The senseless loss of this essential component of my weekly routine  leaves a hole in my gut the size of my heart.    (sniffle)

For the record: I have several friends (and a few listeners) in Norway.   And almost every one of them considers the United States Of America a shithole.  With skyrocketing taxes and all-but-unaffordable medical costs leading a LONG list...  I'm hard-pressed to disagree with them.

Any chance Uncle could relocate?   The way things are going here - a LOT of us would like a new flag to salute.   We're not ALL racist dickheads.

If not Norway... Finland?   Sweden?   Denmark?   Poland?    Any takers?

(Still amazed that SOMEBODY somewhere hasn't yet taken a shot - or ten - at this insane motherfucker.   Just amazed.  And astounded....) 

I got The Flu for Christmas. And I couldn't fucking exchange it!!

Welcome to 2018!!   I hope everyone had a reasonably good holiday.

Mine sucked.   Santa brought me a nice fat dose of THE FLU (the bastard even delivered it early) and I am STILL coughing up green crude oil 2 weeks later.

Our next Pod-O-Matic bandwidth injection comes next weekend, and with it: The long-buried VHUS Volume 5, unavailable since 2014.    Love a good rant?  v.5 contains a two-parter based on my personal experiences in the land of internet dating.   (More dating dementia will follow in volumes 6 & 7).
