Hi, kids!   Hope you're having a super week.  Don't be frightened by the early injection of rich, creamy Uncle goodness.   I have my reasons:

We're still planning to downsize to a Pod-O-Matic freebie site on-or-around November 11th, 2017.   We have no plans to revive VHUS or produce fresh episodes (no matter how little you beg) - but I still want to keep our meager legacy online and streaming as long as I have breath in my body (and cable internet).

In order to give everyone a final chance at downloading the rest of our back catalog before the switchover, I'll have to toss 'em out in even bigger chunks than I had originally planned.   Here's the new game plan...

A Mad Crush on Metal Chicks In Black? Guilty as charged, your honor!

Nothing earth-shaking to report this week.... But I do have 5 chunks of random info you may digest if you wish.

1) The tentative date for our transition from BIG-VHUS-site to Little-VHUS-free-site is November 11th.

2) I'm considering setting up a public Dropbox folder where interested parties can download ~15-20 of our better episodes.   If you have any suggestions on what (or not) to include, drop me a line.

3)  Nice to see so many of you getting off your butts and taking advantage of the Classic Encore episodes on offer.   I also appreciate the letters from new listeners expressing their new-found appreciation of VHUS, as well as their dismay at being WAY too late to the party.  

4)  There's a new album out there called RHAPSODIES IN BLACK from a coven of well-known female gothic/symphonic  vocalists calling themselves EXIT EDEN.

The vocal lineup includes Clementine Delauney,  Amanda Somerville,
Marina La Torraca and Anna Brunner (Epica's Simone Simons also guests on 2 tracks).

The gimmick: 11 goth-ified, opera-metal-injected covers of what most of us would consider God-awful POP songs (maybe a couple of exceptions).

I bought it.   I listened a few times.   I didn't hate it.  And I'm not ashamed.    Here's an Amazon link if you're curious.

5) Twitter & Uncle: Soon to be DIVORCED.   The shit and the politics are just too fucking deep.

It's VHUS Triple-Shots All The Way To The Finish Line!!!

As it says on the tin... we'll be feeding triple-doses of Classic VHUS every week until the very end.   Exciting, ain't it?!?

But don't thank me TOO much for this generosity - if I didn't do it this way, we would run out of quality server time (~2 months) well before we ran out of quality episodes.   In fact, the final month will see episodes rotating on and off the page every 5 days - there's THAT much material to cover before the cremation...
