"I thought VHUS had two blogs, a YouTube channel AND a Facebook page? I keep hearing about them, but I can't find them."
Short answer: we DID have those social media niceties... WAY back in 2015 when these episodes were originally produced. With the exception of the blog you are currently reading - absolutely NO ONE could be bothered to look at the rest of our cool online stuff. So I shit-canned it all and used my time and energy elsewhere. (No big loss, IMHO.)

"Where can we buy the music we hear on VHUS? Either Amazon doesn't carry it, or it's WAY too expensive there."
Very good question. Since VHUS cut back to the Pod-O-Matic "welfare" level (free), we lost a chunk of our ability to showcase the myriad bands, labels and independent prog rock & metal stores that helped power our playlist.
But honestly, if you can't find this stuff online... you're not trying hard enough.
Try these 2 online stores for starters. Both are run by pros who love and understand the music and the artists.

"I love the repeats, but I REALLY want to hear some new episodes. When are you going to get off your ass and give us the good stuff again?"
A dozen variables in my current life would have to violently shift before I could crank up the VHUS machine again. The odds of that happening soon are remote. As in probably never.
As for the endless cycle of repeats... that too is coming to an end.
I executed this infinite loop mostly to maintain "brand awareness" while I tried to wrestle my real life into submission - with the fringe benefit of gaining a substantial bunch of new listeners who missed things the first time around. But based on the last few months of ratings, we've not only plateaued... but are in the early stages of a death spiral.
As such, I have decided to shut down all platforms (with the possible exception of the VHUS Dropbox Archive) at the end of the current repeat cycle. This will toll the final bell sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving, 2019. I believe the dead horse has been sufficiently flogged.

From the Photo Gallery... a good chum of mine recently called me out about one of my off-the-cuff comments which she perceived as racist. I didn't see it that way, and I do not consider myself a racist - not a vicious one anyway. I do not own a MAGA cap. Nowhere in my home will you find a lawn jockey, a Nazi flag, an AR-15 w/bump stock, a white hood re-purposed for beekeeping or Confederate-themed bath towels (which would have to be washed separately - too much hassle).Then she started questioning my white-bread upbringing in the deep south (of MIssouri?!?). So I started looking for proof in the family photo archives - and boy did I find it. Nature vs. nurture? Looks like the latter.... I am so ashamed.
